Standings

How Teams & Players Earn Points
Points are awarded at each regular season event based on finishing position. The season-long standings are designed to reward consistency and keep both team and individual races competitive throughout the year.
Team Standings (A Teams Only)
Only A Team results count toward the official conference standings and State Championship qualification.
Teams earn points based on where they finish at each tournament within their conference.
At the end of the regular season:

• The Top 2 Teams in each conference will earn an invite to the State Championship at High Cliff Golf Course on Friday, June 5.

Individual State Championship Qualifiers
Players can also qualify individually for the State Championship.
The:

• Top 5 Boys (not on a state qualifying team)
• Top 5 Girls (not on a state qualifying team)

in each conference standings race will earn an individual State Championship invite if they are not already advancing with a qualifying team.
This allows outstanding individual players to compete at the State Championship even if their team does not qualify.
Points System
Points are awarded based on tournament finish:

• 1st Place – 100 points
• 2nd Place – 90 points
• 3rd Place – 80 points
• 4th Place – 75 points
• 5th Place – 70 points

Points then decrease by 5 points per position.
Every player who competes in an event will earn at least 5 points.
Best 4 Events Count
To help account for schedule conflicts, weather, and off-days:

• Only a team or player’s best 4 tournament results will count toward the final standings.
• The lowest points finish will be dropped.

​This format rewards both strong performances and season-long consistency.
